Octopart is a search engine that lets you compare the prices and availability of electronic parts across different distributors. It was started by two physics grad students who were tired of searching for identical electronic parts in lots of different catalogs. Their search engine is a work in progress and theye appreciate comments and suggestions. The data on the site comes from distributor feeds and is updated in real time as we get it. This has been added to ShoppingBots Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
