OnlineLPNtoRN.org - Terrific Apps Every Nurse Should Be Using
http://www.OnlineLPNtoRN.org/

Mobile applications for tablets and even smartphones have the capacity to make any nurse or nursing student’s life easier. NCLEX study apps for those seeking their RN license are comprehensive and often offer specialized learning modules for different parts of the test. A bevy of nursing flashcard apps, human anatomy references, prescription drug encyclopedias, and medical term dictionaries make it easy to look up facts that can be hard to remember on the go. Even general productivity apps like Evernote and Dropbox can make a nurse’s life easier by streamlining scheduling and other administrative tasks and offering synced calendars and event reminder functions. A tablet or phone with the right apps can quickly become a nurse’s best ally for maintaining order and sanity with an incredibly busy lifestyle. The apps on this list are some of our favorites, and we think picking up even just a select few of these can make any nurse’s life easier. They’re categorized and numbered for easy browsing (the numbers aren’t rankings), and most are available for iOS, Android, and even Windows Phone or PC. This will be added to Healthcare Resources Subject Tracer™.
