Callimachus (kəlĭm'əkəs) is a framework for data-driven applications based on Linked Data principles. Callimachus allows Web authors to quickly and easily create semantically-enabled Web applications. Callimachus builds on Sesame, Mulgara or OWLIM for RDF storage, AliBaba (a RESTful object-RDF library) and uses a revolutionary template-by-example technique for viewing and editing resources. One of the interesting aspects of Callimachus is its use of RDFa as a query language; templates are parsed to build SPARQL from RDFa markup and then filled with query results. This has been added to the tools section of Research Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
