YellowPen complements the most commonly used Internet tools--the web browser and the search engine--by helping people digest the information they find online. Using YellowPen, people can capture the information "highlights" they encounter in the course of their searches into a powerful database. Storing information in YellowPen is as simple as dragging a selection from a source document (such as a web page) and dropping it in the YellowPen window. Users can freely edit their research results, organize them in "notebooks", add comments and source citations, and search their collections using keywords. They can also share their findings using "teams" or via instant e-mail reports.
