The Special Libraries Association (SLA) will debut its new Web site in late January 2004. The new site will feature a cleaner, more modern appearance, with functional design, structure and enhanced user-friendly access. A diverse sector of the Association played a key role in the development of the Web site. In addition to working with a Web design firm, SLA members and staff participated in surveys and focus groups, which provided valuable feedback to the Association's Web revision team. The new site at www.sla.org features improved access to all major resources. The enhancements have been facilitated by developing a taxonomy, thesaurus, and new content management system and by reorganizing the content within redesigned navigation tools.
