BM on Monday is unveiling seven free developer tools intended to provide software engineers with advanced resources for developing and accessing applications based on Java, XML, and Unix. The tools will enable developers to perform tasks such as searching sequential data, accessing distributed Unix systems, querying views on XML data, and standardizing queries for deployment in an XQuery environment, according to IBM.
