Ancestors - Introduction to Family History Research

This course is divided into four lessons. It will walk you through the basics of family history research. Mastery checks throughout each lesson will help sharpen your skills, and research assignments will assist you as you begin to do your family history research. As you work through each lesson and begin your research, remember that there are resources available online and in your local community to help you if you get stuck on a particular record type.You can visit a Family History Center, call your state Genealogical Society, or search sites like Cyndi's List for more information.
