The toolkit points educators to free and inexpensive, high quality resources that help address the digital divide in the classroom and community. The toolkit, edited by Joy Wallace, senior associate at the National Institute for Community Innovations, is made possible in part through funding from the U.S. Department of Education's PT3 (Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to use Technology) and Technology Innovation Challenge Grant programs. We are committed to continually enhancing the toolkit's contents; therefore, you may want to consider revisiting the toolkit at least monthly as new resources are added each week. Printed copies of the toolkit have been made available through funding generously provided by the AOL Time Warner Foundation, a leader in bridging the digital divide. This will be added to Education and Distance Learning Resources 2004-05 Internet MiniGuide.
