The Virtual Data Center Project: An Operational Social Science Digital Data Library. An operational, open-source, digital library to enable the sharing of quantitative research data, and the development of distributed virtual collections of data and documentation. A joint project of the Harvard-MIT Data Center and the Harvard University Library Harvard. The Virtual Data Center (VDC) software is now in "Release Candidate" stage, and available for download as easy-to-install RPM's.
