Torrent Typhoon (TT) is a revolutionary BitTorrent search engine created on April 18th, 2005 that is able to search the major torrent websites and pool their results onto one page. TT does not host any torrents, nor does it steal website source code. TT could be thought of as a dumbed-down version of Google News. Torrent Typhoon began development on April 18th, but went live April 21st. Since then, it has grown literally exponentially from its beginnings. Sites are being added to the engine whenever they are come across or if they feature a significant amount of torrents. Among the Torrent sites searched include TorrentSpy, TorrentReactor.NET, MiniNova, PQRT.org, MyBitTorrent.com, and The Pirate Bay amounting to over 425,000 torrents. TT resembles Google in its simplicity; this was done on purpose. PlugIn available for Mozilla/FireFox. This has been added to Deep Web Research Subject Tracerâ„¢ Information Blog.
