Journal of Mathematical Modelling and Algorithms
http://www.springerlink.com/link.asp?id=108992

The Journal of Mathematical Modelling and Algorithms (JMMA) focuses on applicable, discrete mathematics where the research reported also contains a significant algorithmic component. Published papers have a strong mathematical foundation and are concerned with the development of mathematical models and solution techniques. Particularly welcome are papers exploiting recent advances in computing and applied to problems of a practical nature. Many of the accepted papers have described exact techniques but some develop heuristic and metaheuristic methods and these are welcome provided the mathematical modelling content is substantial. Topics covered include:

* algorithmics,
* artificial intelligence,
* bioinformatics,
* combinatorial optimisation,
* complexity,
* computational geometry,
* data structures,
* graph theory and algorithms,
* mathematical modelling,
* signal processing,
* mathematical programming,
* metaheuristics,
* parallel and distributed systems.

This list is not meant to be an exhaustive list but rather an indication of the areas of concern of JMMA. Common to all accepted papers is a considerable amount of sophisticated mathematics. This has been added to Bot Research Subject Tracerâ„¢ Information Blog.
