Seekz is a parallel web search engine, or metasearch. It is a university project and is non-commercial. Every time a search is performed, many of the Internet's top search engines are queried simultaneously. The results are merged into one large set with the most relevant websites appearing first. Seperate pages from the same website are grouped together. Although Seekz is currently at an early stage of development, it exists as a fully working, and highly capable, web search engine. The search engine will be kept running and continue to improve indefinitely after the lifetime of the university project. There is large scope for additional features, and many will be implemented in the future. This will be added to the search engine section of the 2006 Internet MiniGuides.
