The China-Profile Web site currently provides a small selection of data-related analyses (with tables, figures and maps), a timeline of key events in China since 1949, an extensive bibliography on contemporary China studies (with more than 800 carefully selected references), and a collection of high-quality Web links. In the near future additional sections will be added and the existing sections will be expanded substantially.
