The International Journal of Human Genetics is designed for prompt publication of original and significant articles on all aspects of Human Genetics (Anthropogenetics, Biochemical Genetics, Biometry, Clinical Genetics, Cytogenetics, Genetic Epidemiology, Genetic Testing, Evolution and Population Genetics, Immunogenetics, Molecular Genetics). The journal also covers ethical issues and genetic counselling. It aims to serve as a forum of life scientists and health professionals, especially those who share a common interest in understanding human beings. The journal publishes original papers on current research and practical programmes, short notes, news items, book reviews, reports of meetings and professional announcements. Constructive criticisms and discussions of published papers and letters of relevance and interest to the readership will be published at the discretion of the Managing Editor.
