McGill Journal of Medicine
http://www.medicine.mcgill.ca/mjm/

The McGill Journal of Medicine (MJM) provides an international forum for student contributions to the field of medicine. They publish student research ranging from basic laboratory science to clinical work to humanities analyses of medicine in society to medically related artwork. Their goal is to reach their broad international readership with multiple perspectives of medicine. The McGill Journal of Medicine currently accepts submissions of the following types: original articles, review articles, letters, research letters, case reports, “crossroads” articles in the humanities, as well as artwork. The nature of the administration of the MJM makes it particularly sympathetic to contributions from students who are just beginning their careers in the medical and scientific fields. As such, this journal hopes to encourage students to continue their research by providing them with an editorial staff eager to consider their submissions. Many students publish their first articles with the MJM and readily recognise that this journal served as a launch pad for their future contributions to scientific literature. Furthermore, the MJM is continually looking to expand its network and recruit other enthusiastic individuals into its community. The MJM staff welcomes anyone eager to participate in this experience either through submissions or technical assistance. All questions and comments are welcome. This will be added to Healthcare Resources 2006 Internet MiniGuide.
