The Journal of Family Communication (JFC) publishes research on all aspects of communication in families, to include communication in family systems, communication in family relationships, and families managing communication with social systems such as mass media, education, health care, and law & policy. In addition to empirical reports, theoretical essays, and review essays, the journal invites articles pertaining to applied family communication, pedagogy, and educational materials (books, videos, web sites). The journal welcomes diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives.
