Biomicrofluidics is a new journal intended to serve as a timely and authoritative resource in a rapidly growing research area. As an electronic-only, open access journal with rapid publication time, Biomicrofluidics will be responsive to the rapid developments expected in this field. The interdisciplinary approach inherent in biomicrofluidics research draws scientists from diverse fields ‹ engineering, physics, materials science, chemistry, and biology. Biomicrofluidics will thus seek to unite the various disciplines that together form this vibrant field of study.
