The journal invites manuscripts for a professional information and library audience that report empirical, historical, and philosophical research with implications for librarianship or that explore theoretical and practical aspects of the field. Peer-reviewed articles are devoted to studies regarding the field of library science, information science and IT, the book trade and publishing. Subjects on instructional technology and information communication, pertaining to librarianship are also appreciated. The journal encourages interdisciplinary authorship because, although library science is a distinct discipline, it is in the mainstream of information science leading to the future of InfoLibrary.
