The Journal of Language and Linguistics will consider for publication original papers, review articles, and teaching materials concerning all aspects of language and linguistic study. The scope of the journal includes both theoretical and applied topics in language studies, linguistics and language teaching. The types of submission accepted include:
* articles of general, applied or theoretical interest in any one or combination of more than one of the main topic areas of the journal, that is: theoretical and applied topics in language studies, linguistics and language teaching.
* reviews of paper or web-based materials
* conference announcements
The Journal of Language and Linguistics accepts articles in English only. Manuscripts are received with the understanding that they are submitted solely to The Journal of Language and Linguistics, and that none of the material contained in the manuscript has been published previously or is under consideration for publication elsewhere, excluding abstracts.
