AI Genealogy Project

AI Genealogy Project
http://aigp.csres.utexas.edu/~aigp/

One's doctoral advisor is one's academic parent. This lets us define an academic genealogy of researchers, to describe the academic ancestors and descendents of a particular set of researchers. While many students have a single doctoral advisor, some have more than one, so the genealogical lattice branches both forward and backward in time. They propose to build an academic genealogy for the field of Artificial Intelligence. They draw their inspiration, as well as a great deal of technical assistance, from the Mathematics Genealogy Project. This has been added to Artificial Intelligence Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
