The APLPJ is the first fully-functional, web-based, American legal journal dedicated to issues facing Asia and the Pacific Rim. The Journal strives to disseminate legal research by law professors, legal practitioners, social scientists, economists, and students; to increase awareness of legal issues impacting the region; and to provide a forum to discuss legal topics that fall within the Journal's geographic scope. Articles and commentaries should address new legal developments from or affecting Asia (all regions), Australia, New Zealand or Polynesia. The Journal also welcomes relevant articles or commentaries that evoke discussion. Translations should be of significant cases or recently enacted law or promulgated rules or regulations from the nations in the Asian-Pacific region. Book reviews on recent relevant ublications are also welcome.
