UbuWeb - Repository for Visual, Concrete and Sound Poetry
http://www.ubu.com/

UbuWeb was founded in November of 1996, initially as a repository for visual, concrete and, later, sound poetry. Over the years, UbuWeb has embraced all forms of the avant-garde and beyond. Its parameters continue to expand in all directions. UbuWeb posts much of its content without permission; they rip out-of-print LPs into sound files; they scan as many old books as they can get their hands on; they post essays as fast as they can OCR them. UbuWeb is an unlimited resource with unlimited space to fill. It is in this way that the site has grown to encompass hundreds of artists, hundreds of gigabytes of sound files, books, texts and videos. They have won many prestigious internet awards and are acknowledged web-wide as the definitive source for Visual, Concrete + Sound Poetry. This has been added to Reference Resources Subject Tracerâ„¢ Information Blog.
