Peerage of Science - Community of Scientists and Peer Review Web Application
http://www.peerageofscience.org/

Peerage of Science is a community of scientists from 27 countries and over 200 institutions around the world. You may well recognise some of the over 500 Peers. Peerage of Science also involves participating journals and supporting institutions. Also, check out what the community is talking about in the blog. You can become a Peer via an invitation from a Peer. The other way to join the community is through peer review. Send a manuscript, and if Peers consider your manuscript deserving scientific peer review you become, by definition, a Peer. Peerage of Science is a web service for automatically controlled, standardized, rigorous, fully anonymous scientific peer review. The service offers Authors a way to focus on science, Reviewers a way to directly benefit from the work they do, Editors a way to proactive, efficient and less time-consuming decisions, and Publishers a competitive advantage. Funders, institutions and society as a whole benefit from better use and allocation of resources via better evaluation of science. Peerage of Science Ltd is a company in Jyväskylä, Finland, founded, owned and governed by scientists. Proud to be a different company, the primary purpose of Peerage of Science is to "foster and develop the practice of science, as well as the conditions, societal standing and evaluation thereof, while promoting the interests of the researchers registered as users of the Company’s services". This has been added to the tools section of Research Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
