Newseum: Digital Classroom
http://www.newseum.org/digital-classroom/default.aspx

If you can't get to the Newseum in Washington, D.C., you'll definitely want to check out its Digital Classroom. Created to help bring the "First Amendment to life for students," the site contains primary sources, interactives, videos, and lesson plans for everyone. From the homepage, visitors can make their way through areas that include Modules, Video Lessons, Primary Sources, and Standards of Learning. The Video Lessons area contains twelve different wonderful programs, including "The Berlin Wall and the Press" and "The Digital Revolution." Moving on, the Modules provide a thoughtful look at how the First Amendment shaped the civil rights movement and the 2012 Election. Finally, the site includes a rich Primary Sources area which includes newspaper front pages from the Civil War along with 30 artifacts from the struggle to secure women's rights in the United States. This will be added to Education and Academic Resources Subject Tracer™.
