Being a trusted journalist in the 21st century is near impossible. Even if the AP Stylebook is your bible and the SPJ Code of Ethics your 10 Commandments, journalists are still fighting a losing battle. Unless, that is, serious measures are taken to change technology, which is what Edward Snowden hoped would come of his revelations. We can do this by capitalizing on the Deep Web, but first, we must be educated on the Deep Web. After all, you can’t win at something you’ve never been taught.
