Why should you use Laverna as note taking application: a) No registration required - Laverna is webapp written on JavaScript which means it requires no installation and no registration; b) Encryption - Laverna can encrypt all your notes on client side with SJCL library and no one, except you can get access to it; c) Markdown - Laverna webapp uses pagedown and ace editor. Also they support several editing modes: distraction free mode, preview mode and normal; d) Privacy - None of them can get access to your personal data because they are using IndexedDB and localStorage. In fact all your information will be stored only on client side; e) Synchronizing - In settings page you can enable synchronizing with cloud storages. After that all your informations can be accessed from anywhere; f) Tasks - Application also supports tasks. Adding tasks as easy as in Github; and g) Open source All their codes is open source and available on Github.
