http://www.shanghairanking.com

This fact comes to us curtsy of the 2014 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) released by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Unsurprisingly, Harvard tops the list for the twelfth year running, with Stanford, MIT, and UC Berkeley trailing close behind. Browse the ARWU’s rankings, purportedly based on “transparent methodology and reliable data,” by World Top 500 Universities, as well as by subject, including Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Engineering, Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy, and Social Sciences.
