littleBits™
http://littlebits.cc/

littleBitsTM is littleBits Electronics, Inc.’s trademark for their library of circuit designs (the “circuit designs”) that are included in their modules that snap together with tiny magnets for prototyping, learning and play. littleBits (spelled lower case L, upper case B, all one word) modules are tiny circuit-boards with simple, unique functions (the “circuit designs”) that are engineered to snap together with magnets. No soldering, no wiring, no programming Modules each have a unique function (light, sound, sensors, buttons, thresholds, pulse, motors, etc.) and the modules snap together to make larger circuits. Just as LEGOsTM allow you to create complex structures with very little engineering knowledge, littleBits modules are powerfully small, intuitive, blocks that make creating with sophisticated electronics a snap. Also their CloudBit™ will allow connection of their littleBits to the Internet through the cloud. This will be added to Student Research Resources Subject Tracer™.
