PhDTree - Academic Genealogy Wiki
http://phdtree.org/

PhDTree is a Wiki project to document the academic family tree of PhDs worldwide, both past and present. The goal is to build the most comprehensive academic genealogy Wiki for every discipline. Science and human civilization can not move forward without the hard work of PhDs. They believe every PhD should have a permanent Wiki page to record his/her contribution to the advancement of science and technology. By PhD, in its broadest sense, they mean doctorates, researchers, scholars, and scientists in general. These include undergrad research assistants, master students, doctorate candidates, postdoc fellows, lecturers, professors, staff scientists, industry R&D professionals, and independent researchers. Other research and professional doctorates such as M.D., J.D., Ed.D., Psy.D., Pharm.D. are also included. phdtree.org is a crowd-sourced wiki website: anyone can create new profiles or edit existing profiles. Read the FAQ first if you have any questions about using the Wiki. This will be added to the tools section of Research Resources Subject Tracer™ Information Blog.
